How do you discover co-sell opportunities?

Your reps have accounts. Your partners have relationships. Nobody has a simple way to turn both into action. Account executives own the target list and the pressure to book meetings. The channel / alliances team owns the relationships. Buying signals live somewhere else. An overlap alone does not say who to ask, why now, or what to send. Mapping still sits in spreadsheets, manual mapping, or calls, emails, and texts. Venn connects target accounts, partner paths, and buying signals, then prepares the next introduction. Venn does not just show partner overlap. It tells you the next partner action, not an overlap map.

You discover a co-sell opportunity by naming an account you want, a partner who can walk you in, and the introduction that partner can forward. A logo in an overlap cell is a clue. It is not yet an opportunity.

Work the list in that order. Load the accounts you already sell to. Read the Ideal Client Profile signals so the why-now is visible. Rank the warm path into each account. Draft the introduction. Leave a prepared next action that sales leadership and the channel lead can both read.

Ideal Client Profile signals on Venn are the changes already listed in How Venn works: funding, executive hires, hiring surges, M&A, and tech-stack moves, ranked by propensity.

Crossbeam is built to show overlap once partners share data in its network. PartnerTap matches accounts, including from CSV. Kiflo publishes co-sell inside a partner portal: which partner might open a door, plus deal registration and commissions. None of those sentences means Venn replaces them.

Built for two motions that often run together: newly hired account executives (AEs) and sales leadership who need a daily path into accounts, and channel / alliances / partner-program teams who run the partner motion. Many teams run both.

Partners do not have to join Venn. PartnerTap already accepts CSV uploads, so 'partners don't need to join' is not unique. The difference is ranked warm paths, a ghost-written intro, live account signals, and a prepared next action in one workspace — partner participation stays optional.

This is a method, not a result. Venn does not guarantee a meeting, a sourced deal, or a cycle time. A draft stays a draft until a person sends it.

14-day trial — no credit card required. Then Pro at $100 per user per month. There is no complimentary plan after the trial.

Frequently asked questions

How do you discover co-sell opportunities?

Start from the accounts you already want to win. Rank them with Ideal Client Profile signals. Rank which partner path is warmest into each account. Draft the introduction a partner can forward. That sequence is discovery. A shared logo is only the first clue.

Is an overlap the same as a co-sell opportunity?

No. Overlap says a partner may be present. A co-sell opportunity still needs a person who will make the introduction and a sentence they can send. Venn drafts that sentence. It does not book the meeting for you.

What do Crossbeam, PartnerTap, and Kiflo already do here?

Crossbeam reports overlap inside its network. PartnerTap matches accounts in its marketplace. Kiflo says it can show which partner might move a live deal inside its program. Venn is the workspace for the ranked path and the draft after that coverage exists.

Who is this answer for?

Newly hired account executives, sales leadership, and channel / alliances teams. One workspace, two motions. Never CAM-only and never AE-only.

How do I check this on my own accounts?

Start a 14-day free trial — no credit card required — and upload a target-account list. Then Pro is $100 per user per month. A ranked path and a draft are not a booked meeting.
